We are very happy to share the wonderful news that Beaktor has won The Red Dot Award in two categories.
Globally recognised as a seal of quality for good design, Red Dot serves as a platform to evaluate and showcase design. The competition looks back on a history of more than 60 years. Some well-known brands have won this award, like Bose, Ducati, Braun, Ferrari, Apple, LG, Porsche, Fujifilm, Google, Philips, and Sony. Each year, thousands of products from around the world compete for this award, and a jury of 50 international experts evaluate, discuss, and test them all individually.
The awards were given for Product Design (Office) and Innovative Product. We have always believed in what we are doing and in the significance of our endeavour, but to have been recognised among thousands of products make us extremely proud. We regard this as a validation of our product, and a turning point in our project. At the same time it is reaffirmation of our belief that work can be done anywhere without compromising health, well-being and productivity.
We have reached this milestone exactly two years after the COVID19 pandemic struck the world and disrupted how we lived and worked until then. It also happens exactly two years after Beaktor was conceived with the purpose of creating a tool for a new era that would be able to restore work-life balance through empathy, technical rigour and design.
Now, after two years, we can say that a new typology has emerged, one that would never have been possible without the pandemic.
Beaktor will continue to evolve as we create more useful and meaningful objects that enrich our lives everyday.
